Help Build the Conservation Legacy Center
The National Museum of Forest Service History’s goal is to have a physical, interactive museum the public can visit to learn about the Forest Service, its people and its legacy. Preparations for constructing the National Conservation Legacy and Education Center are underway in Missoula, Montana. Help us reach our goal!
Support Our Exhibits
The National Museum of Forest Service History exhibits conservation history in a variety of ways; including virtual exhibits, traveling exhibits and by assisting in the curation of exhibits for other museums, visitor centers, and businesses. In the new Conservation Legacy Center we will feature state-of-the art participatory and immersion exhibitory.

Support the Collection
The Museum currently manages, stores, and records a vast collection of 55,000 items which grows every year. Help support this important historic preservation by supporting our repository. Your gift in this category will help us purchase appropriate acid free storage containers and ensure access to our online collection.
Adopt A Tree
Sponsor a living tree to be planted in honor of someone at the Museum Campus. Your sponsorship will include a commemorative plaque placed by your tree. Species of tree will be chosen based on location on the Campus trail.

Sponsor a “Tree” Column
The Museum’s beautiful National Conservation Legacy Center will feature 16 tree structures featuring 16 distinct tree species of the United States. Each 20’-28’ “tree” – offering structural support for their roof counterpart, 8 inside and 8 outside – will offer a very unique opportunity for sponsorship, and can be designated in memory or in honor of an individual or family.

Naming Opportunities
Once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to name the physical spaces within the new National Conservation Legacy Center. These naming opportunities are offered in grateful recognition of leadership gifts from the Museum’s most generous supporters.
Planned Gifts
Consider the Museum in your estate plans with a planned gift. The simplest and most common way to ensure the Museum can provide education and conservation to the next generation is through a will bequest. Other options are also available.
